Chinese New Year falls on Saturday, 6 February 2027, which means January is short for planning. Here is how we suggest working back from your event date.
- Now to December: send the formTell us your event date, venue and rough guest numbers. We call you at the time you choose and quote for your event.
- By early January 2027: confirm your itemsChoose engravable gifts, or send us a sample of your own merchandise so we can test the engraving before the event.
- Before the event: agree the designSettle the layout, for example each guest's name plus a short greeting and “2027”, or your logo.
- On the day: we set up before guests arriveWe bring the station and equipment. You provide a standard power outlet nearby. Each name takes about 30 to 60 seconds.

When is Chinese New Year 2027?
The first day of Chinese New Year 2027 is Saturday, 6 February 2027. Many companies hold annual dinners, open houses and client visits in the weeks before and after that date.
When should we get in touch for a CNY 2027 event?
We recommend getting in touch by early January 2027. That leaves time for a quick call, choosing your items, testing a sample if you are using your own merchandise, and confirming the day’s plan before the festive rush.
Can you engrave a greeting as well as each guest’s name?
Yes, a short message such as a greeting and the year can be engraved together with a name. If you need names or greetings in Chinese characters, tell us on the call so we can confirm the design with you.
Can you engrave our own CNY gift items?
Yes. We need a sample item first so we can test the engraving and get it right. The sample can be returned on request.
Can you come to our office open house or annual dinner venue?
Yes. Our team travels to offices, hotel ballrooms, malls and expo halls throughout Peninsular Malaysia and sets up before the event. We only need a standard power outlet near the station. Live engraving is currently not available in Sabah and Sarawak.
How much does live engraving for a CNY event cost?
